We offer you the possibility to immerse yourself in its habitat using the most suitable ways to do it: sailing on comforting boats, bathing in its clear and still uncontaminated waters, tasting typical lake’s products, accompanying the local fishermen in the activities that, as ancient ritual, repeat daily from a long time ago.

HALF DAY ON A SAILING BOAT

Sailing on the lake, islands’ periplus, bath or diving, snack on board. Do you want to enjoy the lake from a privileged prospect? You can spend half day in a full relax sailing on clear and clean waters. Enjoy a beautiful sight on the buildings and on the luxuriant gardens of the Bisentina island where pheasants and hares are running all around.

Admire the wild beauty of the Martana island, the lava stone reef that imposes on an enchanting bay. Coasting along the jagged contours you can choose among thousand suggestive places where you can dive or simply swim in the clear and warm waters populated by every kind of fishes and then enjoy an aperitif on board admiring a splendid sunset…

A WHOLE DAY ON A SAILING BOAT

Navigation, islands’ periplus (you can choose your trip), bathing or diving. Additionally you can have the possibility to reach and visit archaeological places with the boat, to visit villages on the lake, horse-riding, to have lunch in the typical restaurants.
If you have more time you can stay with us for a whole day combining the pleasure of a trip on a sailing boat with the visit of the Bisenzio promontory, the most beautiful lake’s view, the center of the ancient Vesentum, an important umbro-etruscan city, whose vast necropolis brought to light treasures of the Neolithic , villanoviana, etruscan and Roman Age or otherwise choose for a splendid horse-riding.

Sailing toward the opposite shore you can effect the guided visit to the etruscan necropolis of Pianezze, on Grotte di Castro’s area. Following a path that typically climbs on a hill, rich of Mediterranean vegetation and of centuries-old olives, you’ll arrive on a flat land on which ancient rocky graves are leaned out.
Mooring in the small port of Bolsena you can visit the pleasant tourist town and its suggestive centre. You will remain enraptured walking through these medieval alleys; on every corner you can look at suggestive foreshortenings: flowering areas, well-kept small places and a panoramic sight of the lake, the cleanest in Europe.
Inside the splendid castle that dominates the lake from the top of the hill, there’s the territorial museum of the Bolsena lake, where you can find some interesting archaeological finds and also didactic panels narrating the lake’s history with its different civilizations.
