(37,46 square km with 3786 inhabitants: Bassanesi)
It is located near the Lake of Bracciano and during the time has preserved the characteristic aspect of mediaeval hamlet, even if according to
the legend it has Etruscan origins and it was the secret meeting-place of two young lovers, the beautiful Velka and the valiant Tarkuna. There is no
documentary evidence of the presence of Etruscan settlements in the area, while the Roman presence is largely testified by many finds.
