Our Italian courses take place throughout the year, for a minimum of one week to a maximum of 24 months. Courses begin every Monday but the start may vary according to the student’s needs. Every lesson hour lasts 55 minutes.
Standard: This course takes place Monday through Friday in the mornings from 9:00am-1:00pm. This leaves afternoons free for the student to be able to attend the school’s extracurricular activities. Intensive: This course takes place Monday through Friday in the mornings from 9:00am-1:00pm. In addition there are 2 hours of group conversation in the afternoon.
Combination: This course is made up of 20 hours of group lessons per week, every morning from Monday to Friday from 9:00am-1:00pm, plus 4 hours of individual afternoon lessons that focus on specific language concerns.
Mini-group: Made up of 2 to 5 people. Being a small group allows for student interaction and personalized teacher attention.
Individual: Upon request, every student can have individual lessons. This type of course is suggested for those with special needs or who wish to obtain the best results with little time.
Specialized Language: These courses are orientated towards students that are already at an advanced level of the Italian language, and want to deepen their knowledge of certain specialized sections: business Italian, legal, medical, etc…
Children’s Courses: Upon request, we organize languages courses for children. Kids will learn Italian in a fun and easy way with the help of age-appropriate didactic tools, such as songs, games, and drawings.
Personalized Courses: If you have specific needs, we are happy and able to satisfy any request.
For university or other special groups, we organize specialized courses, working out a program in strict collaboration with the institutions or organizations.

For an authentic knowledge not only of the language but of Italian culture as well, language lessons can be integrated with afternoon seminars on Italian history, architecture, literature, and cinema.
One particular interest in our region is that of art; in addition to evidence of the Etruscan civilization, there are numerous historical and cultural examples spread throughout the province from the Middle Ages through the 18th century.

Every year, Progetto Lingua gives many grants to Italian Institutes of Culture throughout the world in order to help students learning our language to have a true Italian experience. The scholarships include a standard 2-week course at 100% of the cost and one month at 50% of the cost. Flight and lodging costs are not included.
All interested students may contact their respective Italian Institute of Culture to apply for the grant. Our secretary is always available to answer any questions and to help search for lodging. Registration will be completed following confirmation from the respective Culture Institute.
