The oil the 'King' of the products

The extra virgin olive oil of the Lake of Bolsena is developed in an ambient climate of volcanic origin. From the flavour of the olive as soon as it is ground but slightly bitter like the pulp with a background of 'pinch' give from the freshness of the fruit still sour with a particular smell and taste that renders it an appetising and natural condiment. Borne from the olive trees in the district deriving from volcanic land and from the allayed climate of the lake, the elements for giving an oil the special and unique intense emerald green colour, the lowest acidity, a fruity fragrance and the typical and picant taste of the olives from which it comes. The Caninese variety gives 80% while the remainder is from Leccino ans Pendolino. The picking takes place when cold with extremely innovative machines.

Wine 'The most authentic expression of the Lake'

Some areas of the lake district produce excellent DOC wines, whilst in others the wines are obtained in a home made way for family use. Often from these unknown producers, you can taste wines not yet commercial.

Now we see in detail the wines we suggest to you:

Cannaiola di Marta

Red wine obtained from the black Cannaiola vines in the municipalities of Marta and Capodimonte, is fruity and sweet. Wine most sought by familly producers who guarantee the best quality.

Est! Est!! Est!!!

DOC white wine produced in the district of the communities of Montefiascone, Bolsena, San Lorenzo Nuovo, Grotte di Castro, Gradoli, Capodimonte and Marta is obtained from grapes Trebbiano Toscana (65%), Malvasia white Toscana (20%), Rossetto (Trebbiano yellow: 15%). It has a minimum alcohol content of 11%, straw coloured, pleasant dry taste. Serve cool with a plate of fish!
